Flin Flon RCMP are warning the public about a new series of phone scams that target mainly seniors. Calls have been made asking residents which bank they do business at, how many and what types of accounts they hold, and what the account numbers are. "This information is private, and if you give it out over the phone, you don't know who has it and how they will make use of it," the police said in a press release. Giving out such account information allows criminals to access bank accounts and steal money, police said. "Do NOT give this information out of the phone, regardless of who is asking," said the police.
