On Oct. 2 at Winnipeg’s Viscount Gort Hotel, 51 people joined together for the first Flin Flon Luncheon of the fall.
Four guests joined us for the first time: Bonnie Tait from Creighton, Dorothy Anscomb and Bertha McDonald from Winnipeg, and Bibi Rathwell from Calgary.
Before lunch began we invited Wayne Warren to give us a recap of the reunion wine and cheese party and dinner held in Flin Flon on June 29 and 30.
From the 500 individuals who were contacted by email, well over 100 participated in either one or both of the planned events. Those who attended were extremely pleased with the event.
