A program that supports parents with their challenging job has a new headquarters.
The NorMan Regional Parent Child Coalition (NRPCC) will hold a grand opening of its new location at 78 Main Street (the former Sturley’s building) next week.
Funded by the Manitoba government, NRPCC works to promote healthy outcomes for children and families.
Activities and workshops centre around topics such as positive parenting, nutrition and physical health, learning and literacy, and community capacity-building.
Formerly located on Second Avenue, and then at the Primary Health Care Centre, NRPCC moved to its new Main Street location in February.
The grand opening will be held this Tuesday, June 16 from 4 to 6 pm. Guests will enjoy chili and bannock and every child will go home with a gift bag.
