Two Flin Flon School Division (FFSD) students will be heading to Winnipeg to take part in a student session on the provincial education ministry’s ongoing K-12 education review.
Andy Richard from Hapnot Collegiate and Many Faces Education Centre student Camryn Stuckless will travel to Winnipeg May 3 to take part in a session for Grades 11 and 12 students from across Manitoba, organized by the Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA).
“They have a day devoted to listening to students, who are the consumers of education. It should be an interesting perspective on it all,” said Constance McLeese, FFSD superintendent.
The two students were recruited for the project by teachers and school staff, selecting one student from both of the FFSD’s high school facilities and both eligible grades.
