A Hockey Legend Has Passed Away Patrick "Paddy" Ginnell passed away November 17 peacefully at his home in Vernon, BC with his loving wife Debbie at his side. Paddy is well known throughout the hockey world, coaching hockey greats such as Bobby Clarke and Reggie Leach and many others. Paddy was currently a scout with the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Paddy was involved in the WHL for many years from Flin Flon to Victoria, BC as an owner and coach of many WHL teams. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home in Vernon, BC.
