Wow! Sophie Riehl, our Mom retired from the Royal Bank of Canada after 31 years of service. We had the pleasure of returning home and celebrating this awesome occasion and sharing the experience with all her friends and co-workers. Mom's last day of work was well rewarded with a full day of hanging out with her banking friends and a come-and-go reception. Mom was also a feature on the front page of The Reminder. Thank you. What a great interview, picture and story of our Mom. The flowers and gifts and the attendance of so many friends she has made over the years was tremendous. This was followed by a dinner at Mr. Ribs Restaurant. The two young ladies who served us for the evening made part of the absolutely perfect evening. There were many tears and lots of laughter shared. Our Mom is truly loved by all. They made a poem titled "The Riehl Deal" and performed it beautifully. There was also a skit. Mom is a #1 top Flin Flon Bomber fan and they performed "A Nite At The Hockey Game." It was hilarious. Thanks girls. You are so talented. On behalf of the Flin Flon Royal Bank staff, Yvonne Harvey gave a speech that summed up Mom's career and her valued friendship by all that were fortunate enough to have been able to share her 31 year working career. We want to say THANK YOU to our hometown of FLON FLON. We are so proud of our roots and it is so good to come home. Northern people have something so special to offer. Wow. Thank you for all your love and kindness you give to our MOM. She is everything and more, and we are so glad to share her with you. We Love You All. Happy Mother's Day to our MOM and to all you Flin Flon MOMS. Mom, the staff at the Royal Bank say they love you more, but we disagree! Ð Sharon Stoltz, Rita Mymko and Murray Riehl and Families
