This year, May 9 to 15 marks Police Week, which is dedicated to strengthening police-community ties. This special week reminds us that police-community cooperation is the key to safer homes and safer communities. The Cranberry Portage RCMP is hosting an open house to celebrate this year's Police Week. On May 12, from 1 -4 p.m., you are invited to come to the Cranberry Portage RCMP Detachment. Come meet our staff, tour our detachment, and view some of the equipment we use on a day-to-day basis. Kids are very welcome. Coffee, juice and yes, even doughnuts will be served. We hope to see you on May 12!
