Jonathon Naylor Editor For the first time ever, the scientific brain power of both of Flin Flon's K-8 schools will be exhibited under one roof. Ecole McIsaac and Ruth Betts schools will hold a joint science fair March 6 at the R.H. Channing Auditorium. 'Both schools wanted to try it and then to showcase it more to the community, they wanted to use the (auditorium),' said Trustee Murray Skeavington, chair of the school board. Trustee Skeavington said he hopes the location will mean a big turnout for the science fair, which will include a public viewing from 4-7 p.m. Medals and certificates for the top projects will be presented at 7 p.m. Superintendent Blaine Veitch said the joint science fair is being held on a trial basis. If it is successful, it will continue next year.
