Jonathon Naylor Editor It was a big day for a bunch of little people. The Flin Flon Guidance Nursery held its graduation celebration last Friday, June 22, at the R.H. Channing Auditorium. Dozens of parents and relatives were on hand as 46 youngsters received diplomas in honour of their achievement. Wearing cardboard grad caps, the kids said their farewells as they prepare to enter kindergarten this fall. Nursery director Rhonda Boyd said 2011-12 was another fun year. One highlight saw the children care for caterpillars that were later freed as beautiful butterflies. Friday's morning ceremony also saw 'undergraduates' recognized, with a tasty lunch served afterwards. The nursery had a total enrollment of 92 children this past year and will now reopen in September.
