The NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority is pleased to advise that the Honourable Dave Chomiak, Minister of Health, has announced the new appointments to the NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority Board effective April 1, 2004. Linda Lautamus, Board Chair, advises that four new members were appointed to the RHA Board with John Marnock, Marion Pearson, Marg Britton, and herself being appointed for an additional three year term. Mrs. Lautamus would like everyone to join her in welcoming the following new board members: Dennis Strom - Creighton; Valvena Matheson - Sherridon; Marc Jackson - Snow Lake; and Joan Niquanicappo - Opaskwayak Cree Nation. The NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority Board for 2004/05 is as follows: Linda Lautamus, Chair - Flin Flon Dennis Ballard - Flin Flon Marg Britton - Flin Flon Diane Deschambeault - Opaskwayak Cree Nation Marc Jackson - Snow Lake Valvena Matheson - Sherridon John Marnock - The Pas Joan Niquanicappo - Opaskwayak Cree Nation Marion Pearson - Cranberry Portage Wayne Sherwood - Cranberry Portage Dennis Strom - Creighton Lautamus added that she would like to take this opportunity to thank Garry Zamzow, whose term has expired, for his commitment and dedication to the region and wish him well in the future. Mrs. Lautamus concluded by saying that she looked forward to working with the board in this fiscal year as we continue to initiate and implement new initiatives such as the Primary Health Care Program.
