Jonathon Naylor Editor It's become a holiday tradition in Flin Flon and area. As surely as jolly old St. Nick will bring toys to all the good boys and girls this Christmas, one lucky person will be handed the keys to a brand new vehicle courtesy of the Flin Flon Lions Club. The service club is again holding its Christmas draw, with a 2012 Dodge Ram 4x4 truck up for grabs. Ken Mansell, who is co-chairing the draw along with Andy Wasylciw, says sales are going 'very good' after getting off to a slightly delayed start. A total of 3,500 tickets were printed, with the winning one to be pulled from a drum on Christmas Day at 3 p.m. CFAR will broadcast the draw live. The glistening red truck, valued at $43,982, was purchased from Twin Motors and can often be seen parked on Main Street in front of the Lions trailer. Tickets are available at the Lions trailer and at various businesses throughout the community. Proceeds will stay in the community, going toward projects supported by the Lions.
