Seven students recently graduated from the Northlands College Plumbing Applied Certificate program in Creighton. The programs ran from October 6, 2004 to February 27, 2004. The program was accredited by SIAST Kelsey Campus and was funded by the Saskatchewan Skills and Extension Program (SSEP). Riel Morin instructed the program. The Plumbing Applied Certificate provides graduates with entry level knowledge and skill development in plumbing installation, water supplies, waste systems, and plumbing fixtures. Graduates upon becoming indentures will be able to apply to the Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission to receive credit for level technical training.
