Jane Robillard (left) of the Northern Neighbours Foundation accepts a $350 donation from Lori Stevens, a local small-business owner who took it upon herself to raise dollars for the charitable organization. Northern Neighbours has been actively fundraising to take advantage of matching grants available until October. Until then, every dollar given to the foundation translates into a 50-cent donation from the Thomas Sill Foundation. Northern Neighbours must raise at least $10,000 to qualify for the funds.
