Now that spring is in the air, it’s time to think about summer and all the fun it brings.
Northland Ford’s Sport and Auto Show, held over the weekend at the Creighton Sportex, featured campers, ATVs, boats, trucks and cars all shined up and ready to go for summer adventures.
“The biggest thing between all the parties involved [was] to give people the chance to come out and look at vehicles with no pressure,” said Northland Ford manager Allison Wilson. “Of course it’s nice to sell a vehicle, but we just [wanted] people to come and see what we have.”
The fourth annual show offered visitors the opportunity to sit in a new truck, take a tour of a camper or try out an ATV.
“It gives people the chance to see what we have,” said Wilson. “When you’re on our lot, you’re looking to buy, but here you can come and just look.”
While Northland’s goal, along with partners Frontline Sport and Leisure and Frank Dunn RV Sales, was to showcase vehicles, they were prepared to make sales as well.
The Sport and Auto Show ran from Thursday until Saturday with a few hundred people checking things out the first day.
