And a spokesperson for the provincial government's Workplace Safety and Health department said it was 'undetermined' when further details could be released. At about 4 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, a contractor at the mine died after apparently falling into the main shaft. The contractor, whose name was not released, has been identified as a man who worked for Major Drilling. Hudbay said previously that no one other than the victim was involved.
