A Mountie directs traffic near a rear-ended car on Green Street, at the Phelan Avenue intersection, on Wednesday evening, July 29. RCMP said it appeared the driver of a truck did not see an oncoming car and turned in front of the car. The car driver attempted to swerve but the truck hit the rear portion of the car, police said. There were no injuries and the drivers of both vehicles were able to drive home. No charges were pending.
