An upcoming concert involving the Flin Flon Community Choir is receiving attention from a prestigious source.
BBC Music Magazine is listing the Dec. 1 Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) concert as a number one “unmissable event.”
Not surprisingly, the performance of Handel’s Messiah has already sold out New York’s famed Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall.
The renowned Flin Flon choir will join several other choirs from around the world in performing at the concert.
Mayor George Fontaine last week took the opportunity to wish the choir the best of luck in the Big Apple.
