Callinex Mines is touting the latest drill results from its Pine Bay Project near Flin Flon.

The company announced this week that one drill hole has intersected 2.3 metres of 9.3 per cent zinc equivalent, containing 6.65 per cent zinc and 0.83 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 28.0 g/t silver.

Callinex said this same hole was an 85-metre step-out hole completed to the northeast of the initial discovery hole at Pine Bay East, a zone within the Pine Bay Project.

In total, four holes drilled during the 2016 winter drilling campaign have outlined mineralization along an approximate 175-metre strike length, the company said.

Callinex said the main mineralization at the Pine Bay East zone appears to be located slightly southwest and down-plunge from what is known as the Baker Patton deposit.

It was at Baker Patton that Callinex recently announced a near-surface drill intersection of 10.6 metres that graded 1.4 per cent copper and expanded the Baker Patton deposit.

The company said it plans to complete at least one deep hole to test down-plunge from the Pine Bay East zone.
