Jonathon Naylor Editor A plan to add as many as 30 prime new residential lots to Creighton is in the study phase. Town council hopes to start adding the lots in phases, beginning next year, by expanding the Collins St. subdivision. 'I don't know if you're going to see any physical work done this year,' Mayor Bruce Fidler said at a recent council meeting. While 30 is the rough number being projected, Mayor Fidler said the final amount could change as the project moves forward. Though census figures show Flin Flon and Denare Beach continue to shrink, Creighton has essentially held steady in terms of population. Collins St. has attracted much attention from home builders and today hosts some of the newest, most luxurious homes in the area. Earlier this year, Mayor Fidler said extending Collins St. is the most practical way to accommodate Creighton home builders.
