The Reminder is pleased to welcome a friendly new face to our sales and design team. Krista Lemcke will sell and design ads for our newspaper and its sister magazine, Cottage North. 'I'm excited for something new, something different,' she says. Krista will complement sales manager Karen MacKinnon, who remains a part of our team. Krista joins our team fresh from a stint at Northland Ford, where she sold vehicles for a year and spent another four years as business manager. In her new role, she looks forward to helping businesses promote themselves and succeed in an ever-evolving commercial landscape. Other than her sales experience, Krista brings extensive knowledge in graphic design, having studied multimedia at Saskatoon's New Media Campus. The Flin Flon native's knack for working with the public has long been apparent. Her first job was selling clothes at Faktor's Fashions on Main Street. 'I just really like people. I'm a people person,' Krista says. Krista has spent her first week at The Reminder making phone calls, sending out e-mails and getting a feel for her new position. She has found that she already knows a majority of The Reminder's clientele and looks forward to building on her relationship with them. Krista and Karen are always developing exciting advertising opportunities for businesses and organizations.
