The Easter weekend fittingly saw "The Passion of the Christ" reclaim top spot at the box office. Mel Gibson's controversial interpretation of the last hours of Christ's life grossed $17.1 million in the United States. Coming in second place was comic book adaptation "Hellboy," which earned $11.1 million amid surprisingly positive reviews. Tied for third spot with $9.2 million each were Cedric the Entertainer's new comedy, "Johnson Family Vacation," and "The Alamo," based on the 1836 standoff between a group of Texan and Tejano men, and Mexican dictator Santa Anna's forces. Fifth place went to The Rock's latest offering, "Walking Tall." The remake of the 1970s action flick of the same name grossed $8.3 million. "Home on the Range" came in sixth with $8.19 million, followed by "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," which made $8 million. Rounding out the top ten were "The Whole Ten Yards" ($6.72 million), "Ella Enchanted" ($6.11 million), and "The Girl Next Door" ($6 million."
