The Flin Flon Alliance Church is raising the curtain on a new movie about the life of Christ. "The Gospel of John" is still in theatres but will show at the church this Saturday. There will be no admission, though a silver collection will be taken for local youth to attend a religious conference next month in Winnipeg. The Alliance Church's Pastor Doug Smith said the movie is a word-for-word account of the Gospel of John, which details Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Everyone is welcome to attend the showing at the Flin Flon Alliance Church, 237 Green Street, this Saturday, April 10, beginning at 7 p.m. Concession items will be for sale.
