Creighton RCMP are seeking assistance in investigating numerous recent property offences in Denare Beach. On the weekend of August 24-26, a number of vehicles were vandalized with slashed tires near the main beach and Marina. On August 26 a report was received of two youths spraypainting rocks and buildings, and a number of vehicles were also spraypainted. These youths were described as male _ one wearing black track pants with a black hooded sweater and the other wearing black track pants with white lettering and a red and black checkered flannel shirt. Finally, on August 27, numerous reports were received of slashed tires on Cressey Drive and Lindsay Crescent in Denare Beach. Police believe these incidents from the weekend are related, and the youths observed spraypainting remain unidentified but are of primary interest at this time. Creighton RCMP have been conducting random patrols and are actively investigating these property offences, and residents of Denare Beach are requested to be patient as police continue their efforts. Members of the public are requested to call the police should they observe individuals matching the aforementioned described youths or if they have information regarding these investigations. The public is further reminded to report any suspicious behavior or any incident as something seemingly insignificant can in fact be the turning point in an investigation.
