A teenager with ties to Pelican Narrows who was reported missing in September has been located.
Colton Ballantyne was located in early October, but RCMP did not notify the media until last week.
The Mounties apologized for the error, saying “some agencies did not receive notification” the teen had been found.
The 14-year-old had gone missing from Prince Albert on June 21. Police issued a news alert in September, saying they wanted to make contact with the teen to ensure he was safe.
