Jonathon Naylor Editor A man walked away with only minor injuries after an ore truck smashed into the side of the pick-up truck he was driving in Cranberry Portage last week. RCMP say the pick-up truck driver turned onto Highway 10 _ the main artery through town _ from a side street without giving himself enough time to do so. The ore truck driver, who was headed to Snow Lake, suffered no injuries in the accident, which occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 12:40 p.m. last Thursday, Sept. 13. Police said the ore truck hit the driver's side door of the 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck, which was destroyed beyond repair. Charges are pending against the driver of the pick-up truck, a 48-year-old man from Wabowden. Both vehicles were occupied only by their drivers.
