Cranberry Portage RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in any information dealing with a break, enter and theft at Tartan Lake Mine. Between 8 p.m. on October 1 and 8 a.m. on October 4, 2004, some individuals entered the Tartan Lake Mine property and shot a lock off of the Main Shop building. Once inside, the individuals stole a Husquavarna Model 365 Special chain saw and a Jiffy Ice Auger. It is believed that four males had entered the property on two quads and a motorcycle some time on the weekend. Anyone with information on this crime as asked to contact the Cranberry Portage RCMP at 472-3612 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.8/10/04
