Young women interested in representing their community have until this Thursday, March 24, to enter the 2005 Queen Mermaid Pageant. Organizers had yet to receive any entry forms yesterday but remained optimistic contestants would step forward. Entry forms are available at the Candy Bar or from reigning Queen Mermaid Michelle Pettersen, her First Princess Kelsey Watt or Second Princess Shaleen Baribeau.
