Democracy is in action at McIsaac School Ecole McIsaac, where students recently elected their new student council. Ainsley Conner gained the top spot as president, with Brandi Hanna serving as co-president. Jennifer Reeves is the new secretary while Caitlin Bailey is the co-secretary. Filling in the role of treasurer is Chelsey Veitch, with Sarah Phair as co-treasurer. Meanwhile, the school's Spirit Squad, which appears at McIsaac events to help boost school spirit, has been named. The group consists of: Shelby Joyner; Scott Leydon; Casey West; Amber Joyner; Jonell O'Donnell; Catherine Fahie; Sabrina Clark; Samantha Breedon; Kyle Corden; and Athea Fernandes.
