Flin Flon’s mayoral candidates will square off in a public forum next week.
The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce will host the forum next Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7 pm at the city hall council chambers.
All residents are invited to attend as the candidates answer questions from the chamber and the public.
Candidates will have two minutes to introduce themselves, two minutes to answer each question from the chamber and one minute to answer each question from the public.
Each candidate will also be given one minute to conclude their thoughts for the evening.
The chamber’s Dave Kendall will moderate the forum.
Three men are in the running to be Flin Flon’s next mayor: incumbent George Fontaine, former city councillor Cal Huntley and Robin James.
Flin Flon’s mayoral and city council election will take place Oct. 22. No election for school board will be necessary as all seven candidates have been acclaimed.
