Saskatchewan's high court is expected to rule this month on whether to allow same-sex marriage. Gay rights advocates are optimistic Saskatchewan will become the next Canadian jurisdiction to permit such marriages. Justice Minister Frank Quennell recently said the province would not oppose a gay or lesbian couple who takes the matter to court. "It is clearly federal jurisdiction," Quennell said.
