Police took one male into custody Monday following a suspected homicide in Pukatawagan.
RCMP on the northern Manitoba reserve said they were notified of two injured males at the local nursing station at about 4:35 am Monday.
One of the males succumbed to his injuries, police said. His death was being investigated as a homicide.
Another male was in custody in connection with the death. As of press time Tuesday morning, police had not announced any charges.
Resources from the RCMP’s Serious and Major Crimes units, and its Forensic Identification Services, were in Pukatawagan to assist with the investigation.
Police released no further information as of press time.
Pukatawagan is located 114 air km northeast of Flin Flon.
