Canada Post would like to advise customers that some mail items traveling through the Prairie Provinces could be delayed as a result of storm activity. The Prairies are experiencing severe spring storms that are affecting Canada Post's national transportation services. "The Corporation is implementing contingency measures to minimize delays," explains Bill Davidson, General Manager for Regional Operations in Prairie Division. "Unfortunately, some routes of travel are impassable, and the safety of our employees and the security of the mail are of primary importance to us." Mail transportation in other regions is unaffected.
