Longtime Flin Flonner Queenie Williamson celebrated her 90th birthday on Tuesday, Nov. 3, with granddaughter Kyla Willerton (from left), son William (Bucky) Williamson and daughters Kathleen McDonald, Lindsay Zorn and Louise Willerton on hand. Among Queenie’s birthday gifts was a personalized copy of hockey legend Reggie Leach’s new autobiography, as Leach once rented her family’s basement suite. Queenie came to Canada from Ireland in 1927 and settled in Flin Flon around 1943. She now lives at the Northern Lights Manor.
