Flin Flon’s Burkee’s Bedlam and I’d Hit That were the A and B side champions in the first cash tournament of the Flin Flon Creighton Slo Pitch League season.
Local teams competed against clubs from The Pas in the three-day tournament, held June 19 to 21 with games played between Creighton Ball Diamond and the Centoba Park diamonds.
The sun stayed out all weekend, a welcome turn of events given that local ball tournaments are often played under more rain than sun.
Burkee’s picked up their A side win over Evil Marsupials with I’d Hit That claiming first place over DOA on the B side.
