Members of the Flin Flon Lions Club dug out their song books and instruments Wednesday evening to entertain the residents of Northern Lights Manor. About 10 Lions were on hand to bring smiles to the faces of the seniors with enthusiastic renditions of old favourites such as She'll Be Comin' 'Round the Mountain. For the club, the evening of enjoyment commemorated Lions World Service Day, an annual occasion on which Lions members around the world do something special in their community. The local Lions take the opportunity each year to entertain the manor residents and serve them cake and other refreshments. Based on their response, the seniors no doubt can't wait to have the Lions back for another visit.
