Submitted by Habitat 53 Chapter The Habitat 53 Chapter of Habitat for Humanity will be holding three information meetings in Flin Flon. On Sept. 20, they will hold a meeting open to the public on the purpose of their group, what stage they are at in preparing to build a home for a low-income working family and upcoming fund raising events. Anyone interested is invited to attend at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20 at the City Hall Council Chambers. On Thursday, Sept. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 11, their Family Selection Committee will hold information meetings on the family selection process and how a low-income working family can apply to purchase a Habitat home. The meetings will be held at 7 p.m., also at the Council Chambers. Anyone interested in the family selection process is encouraged to attend. The Habitat ReStore is open every Saturday until the end of October from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the armoury site. You can come and shop for or donate building supplies and furniture items.
