A helicopter made an emergency landing in Kississing Lake northeast of Flin Flon on Sunday, the Brandon Sun reports. The newspaper reported that the pilot and lone passenger escaped without injuries. The helicopter entered the water nose first near a lakeshore home owned by a Sherridon resident, according to the Sun. The newspaper said the chopper was under contract to Conservation's firefighting program. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the mishap. Kississing Lake is about 100 kilometres northeast of Flin Flon.
