Jonathon Naylor Editor Mayor George Fontaine and one of his councillors are giving credit where they feel it is due. At last week's council meeting, Mayor Fontaine praised Hapnot Collegiate students on their recent Dinner Theatre production. In his closing remarks, the mayor said the students 'did a lovely job' not just on stage, but in providing a meal to the audience members. Hapnot's production of Peter Panic, a musical comedy, took place Feb. 13 and 14 in the gymnasium. It featured 20-plus student performers. Also at last week's meeting, Coun. Ken Pawlachuk complimented Cindy McLean, administrator of the Flin Flon Public Library. 'She's doing an excellent job,' said Coun. Pawlachuk, adding that McLean is someone who thinks outside of the box. McLean took over as library administrator in 2011.
