Jonathon Naylor Editor A common-law couple faces charges after an altercation that allegedly saw the woman cut her partner's face with a knife. On the afternoon of March 30, Flin Flon RCMP were called to the scene of a domestic dispute in the downtown area. It is alleged that a 33-year-old man beat up his 37-year-old partner, who retaliated by taking a knife to his face, leaving what police described as a minor injury. Police say alcohol is believed to be a factor for both individuals. The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, while the man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm. They are scheduled to appear in court May 12.
