Graduates of Keewatin Community College continue to be satisfied with their training and are finding work in their chosen field, a survey of 2001/2002 graduates shows. Of the Keewatin Community College (KCC) graduates surveyed, over 90 percent indicated a high degree of satisfaction with their courses and 89 percent were employed within the first three months after graduation. Over 97 percent said they would recommend their courses to others and 89 percent said they were using skills obtained through their training in their current job. "I am very pleased with the high level of satisfaction expressed by our graduates," said Tony Bos, President of KCC. "It is especially gratifying to see that the graduates are successful in finding training-related employment," he added. "I believe this survey shows that community colleges are training people with the skills needed to work and live in their own communities." Results from this survey of 2001/2002 certificate, diploma and degree graduates consistently indicate that the majority of graduates are either employed or have returned to school to further their education, and are highly satisfied with the education they have received at KCC. "I think all the staff at the College can be justifiably proud of the work they are doing in meeting the educational and training needs of Northern Manitoba," Bos added.
