The Northern Juried Art Show was held in The Pas during the May 14-16 weekend. It was a great success as many art enthusiasts came out to see the nearly 200 pieces of art on display. The artwork, created by artists from all over Northern Manitoba, was critiqued by guest jurors who also chose winners in each category. It was the inaugural year for the Youth Category which had very impressive work entered. Next year it happens all over again, and Churchill will have the honour of hosting the art show, so get those ideas flowing.
