A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, June 29 through to Sunday, July 5: Monday, June 29 • Report of a rock being thrown at the rear window of a vehicle parked on Boam Street. No suspects at this time.

A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, June 29 through to Sunday, July 5:

Monday, June 29

• Report of a rock being thrown at the rear window of a vehicle parked on Boam Street. No suspects at this time.

• Report of a driver’s side window being broken while parked at a Callinan Street residence. No suspects at this time.

• Report of from a Boam Street landlord that a former tenant had buried a dog under the deck of the apartment he had been renting.

• Report of an alleged domestic assault on Lancester Crescent. Investigation revealed injuries did not match what was alleged to have happened. Police records indicate a previous false allegation had been made.

• Report of two vehicles with slashed tires on North Avenue. No suspects at this time.

• Report of a group of youths walking down Green Street checking car doors. Matter under investigation.

Tuesday, June 30

• Intoxicated male observed lying in front of steps of Main Street business. Police checks revealed man had breached numerous court-ordered conditions. Male was arrested and remanded into custody.

• Report from an intoxicated male saying he had lost his wallet. The wallet was recovered, missing $130. The intoxicated male said he now has
post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Report of intoxicated female who had been cleared by Flin Flon General Hospital staff. Attempts were made to locate a sober relative. Police located the home, but found a sign that read “Not home, gone fishing. If you are drinking or drunk, keep walking.” The female was lodged until sober.

Wednesday, July 1

• Report of an assault at Aspen Grove between a 17-year-old male and 30-year-old male. The younger of the two knocked on the door then threw an object at the other male’s head. Matter under investigation.

• Report of intoxicated male and female sitting at the duck pond. Complainant said the two swore at a five-year-old boy as he walked by. Police attended, unable to locate the intoxicated couple.

• Report of intoxicated male that had been cleared by Flin Flon General Hospital staff. Male was arrested, lodged until sober.

• Report of intoxicated female causing a disturbance at a South Hudson Street residence. Female was arrested, lodged until sober.

Thursday, July 2

• Report of a Steventon Boulevard garage that had been rummaged through. Nothing reported missing.

• Report of a Wright Avenue garage that had been rummaged through. A par of sunglasses and $10 was reported missing.

• Report of four-hit alarm at a South Hudson Street business. Investigation revealed alarm to be false.

Friday, July 3

• Report from complainant that she received a phone call from a friend in Aspen Grove who stated the complainant’s cousin was trying to sell a shirt. The friend thought it was suspicious because she had given the shirt to the complainant as a gift.

• Intoxicated male observed during Trout Festival festivities on Main Street. He was arrested, lodged until sober.

• Report of a dog left in a vehicle at a downtown store.

• Report of a 911 call from the Flin Flon General Hospital that was deemed to be false.

• Report of a truck that was stolen from Aspen Grove. Truck was later involved in a two-vehicle collision on Green Street. Female was arrested on scene and in facing charges of theft, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and numerous offences under the Highway Traffic Act.

• Report of young children going into an uptown establishment looking for their parents. Parents and children left prior to police arriving on scene.

• Intoxicated female observed on Hapnot Street. She was arrested, lodged until sober.

• Report of domestic violence on Third Avenue. Investigation revealed nothing physical had occurred, but male was breaching his conditions. He was arrested and lodged.

Saturday, July 4

• Report of intoxicated female causing disturbance on South Hudson Street. Police attended, 17-year-old female lodged until sober and charged under the Liquor Control and Gaming Act for consumption of liquor by a minor.

• Report of 911 call to a Hill Street residence. Police located intoxicated male and two intoxicated females. All claimed not to have called police.

• Report of one-hit false alarm at a Main Street business. Investigation revealed alarm to be false.

• Report of a fight between male and female on Ross Street. Police attended and found no one. The complainant was called back and said the incident actually happened on North Avenue.

• Report of assault at a Bellevue Avenue residence. A male was beaten up by three males that were known to him. The matter is under investigation.

• Report of assault on Hill Street that occurred two days prior. The matter is under investigation.

• Report of black F-150 passing illegally on the perimeter highway. A plate number was obtained and the matter is under investigation.

• Intoxicated male youth observed freaking out in Rotary Park. Investigation revealed he was on numerous court-ordered conditions. He was arrested, lodged until sober and remanded into custody.

Sunday, July 5

• Report that a male was assaulted with bear spray behind an uptown establishment. A male youth was arrested and is facing weapons-related charges. The youth was remanded into custody.

• Report of suspicious persons on Main Street. Police attended and it was the crew taking down the amusement rides.

• Report of intoxicated male at a social making lewd comments to women. Male left the building by foot. Patrols made to locate him were unsuccessful.

• Report of dog left in vehicle at a downtown store.

• Report of theft from a car on Main Street. The matter is under investigation.
