Police are investigating the death of a three-year-old Nelson House boy who was apparently attacked by a group of dogs on Monday. The boy was pronounced dead upon arrival at the community's nursing station after the incident, police said. An autopsy will take place in Winnipeg. The child's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Nelson House is a First Nation community located about 65 kilometres west of Thompson. Thompson RCMP are handling the investigation.
