Nominations open next week for a by-election to fill two vacancies on Denare Beach village council.
The village will accept nomination forms from candidates from Tuesday, Feb. 17 until Wednesday, March 11.
The election itself will take place on Wednesday, April 15.
Davis McKay and Joanne Burkholder, both rookie councillors, resigned their seats a week apart in December.
Burkholder received the most votes of any councillor in the 2012 civic election. McKay eked out a three-vote victory over incumbent Anne Schiltroth to secure the final spot on council.
