Flin Flon RCMP have released a surveillance image of the masked male who robbed Lloydy’s Corner Store at knifepoint a week ago.
As The Reminder previously reported, police describe the suspect as standing between 5 ft. 5 in. and 5 ft. 7 in. with a slender build. He was wearing dark clothing with his face completely covered.
Shortly after 11 am on Wednesday, Feb. 4, the male entered the convenience store and, armed with a knife, forced the clerk to empty the cash register into his backpack.
No figure is available as to how much cash was stolen.
Lloydy’s ownership said the store would implement additional security measures to ensure such an incident does not happen again.
