In honour of the Royal Weekend, students in Christine Williams' Grade 1 class at Ecole McIsaac School wrote stories about what they would do if we were King or Queen. * * * If I were King for a day, I would buy 100 bouncy houses and I would have a funny show playing in my yard. I would go to Mike's and buy ALL of the ice cream. I would buy 100 cool cars! Ethan B. * * * If I were the Queen, I would have a pool in my back yard. I would have lots of money to buy presents for everyone. I would live in a big castle. Cindora * * * If I were King for a day, I would make them buy me a dirt bike and a trampoline. I would play all day! Jaxon * * * If I were the Queen, I would tell them to show me how to do a back flip and a front flip. I would tell them to buy 100 candy for me and to build me a bouncy house. I will love bouncing in the castle. It will be the best. I will have a tea party. They will rob a bank for me and get me some jewelry. I want a hot tub too! Angel * * * If I was Queen for a day, I would say 'take me shopping and get me a horse!' I would buy a dress, shoes and a lap top. I'll ride my horses. I'll ask for all the money and I will buy a hot tub with my money. I'll buy a pool and I'll go swimming in my pool and hot tub. Kara * * * If I were king for the day, I would tell them to build me a fair in my back yard. They would make me a fun house. I would make them to get the most candy in the world.
