A couple of highway accidents this week underscore the need for motorists to drive with added caution on the slippery roads, say police. On Tuesday afternoon at about 4 o'clock, a man riding a bicycle on the Perimeter Highway did not sustain serious injuries when he was hit by a vehicle. The man was taken to the Flin Flon General Hospital and soon released, police said. No charges are pending, as police said the icy road conditions were to blame. In another incident, a single vehicle accident took place the previous day, Monday, on Highway 10 near Alexanders Auto Ranch. The 71-year-old female driver, the lone occupant, suffered a mild head injury and was discharged from hospital yesterday.
