Hapnot Collegiate students Lalain Bashir and Jess Young, with Doug Gourlay of Northland Ford, celebrate their haul of donated food for the Lord’s Bounty Food Bank. Members of the school’s Equity and Social Justice Committee / Gay Straight Alliance, together with student council, ran the We Scare Hunger campaign throughout October. With help from Northland Ford and teachers, students collected an estimated 1,780 lbs of food, up from 1,000 lbs last year.
