If Flin Flonners, like Bing Crosby, were dreaming of a white Christmas, they seem to be getting their wish. Between 6 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. yesterday, 12 centimetres (4.73 inches) of snow dropped on the community, according to Environment Canada. The heavy snowfall made for some difficult driving on a number of streets. A common sight around town was that of well-bundled residents working to remove the white stuff from their driveways and sidewalks. City crews were out in full force, clearing the roads and public sidewalks as quickly as possible. Pictured is one worker operating a snowblower on the Green St. sidewalk near the Spruce Ave. intersection.
