Little ghosts and goblins will haunt your porch as planned this Sunday. The elected councils of Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach are not switching Halloween to Saturday, as some residents have been wondering. "It's just too confusing," said Larry Fancy, Flin Flon municipal administrator. The decision won't sit well with a group of Christians who asked for the change. "Due to Sunday being the Lord's day," wrote local reverend Mark Ramshaw in a letter to all three councils, "and a day that traditionally Christians have set aside for worship, and Halloween being a day with many occult overtones, some Christians have expressed concern with Halloween being celebrated on a Sunday." A number of municipalities across North America switch trick-or-treating to Saturday when Halloween falls on a Sunday.10/25/2004
